In 1909 Bosch Group opened its first trade office in China. And in 1926, the first car service workshop opened in Shanghai. Today, the Group's four business sectors are present in China: Automotive and intelligent transportation technology, industrial technology, consumer goods, energy and building technology.

      Bosch in China currently operates 62 companies with 53,000 employees and a Bosch (China) Investment Co., Ltd. in Shanghai. Bosch 2014 consolidated sales in China reached 52.1 billion yuan.
